Since 2012, Maison Celadon has its timepieces Made in China with Pride.
These watches, along with our emblem, are inspired by the Chinese art of 山水, a technically rigorous style of tradtional landscape painting using only brush and ink. It is this balance of purity and complexity that Maison Celadon endeavours to bring to our watches.
Every Maison Celadon watch is designed and constructed on Chinese soil, and the numerous details in each watch derives meaning from over 5000 years of Chinese art and history.
The Imperial Series is the cornerstone of the Maison Celadon range. Featuring the CG18 movement, with a 48-hour power reserve, and oil-pressed guilloché dials mounted on brass, the Imperial timepiece is an exercise in subtlety and style. Each Imperial collection is manufactured in batches of 100 pieces, with 50 pieces per design/colour variant.
The Celestial Silk
Our Suzhou Silk dials utilises the most celebrated of the four main styles of Chinese silk embroidery, distinguished by the use of split silk threads of the highest quality, resulting in minaturised art works with complex layers of detail and colour depth.
